This is a message to our fans and friends

We have decided that we will be putting Those Dancing Days to bed for a while. We have been together as a band for almost six years now and have had such an amazing time - we have grown up together, created together, seen the world together. We have been so incredibly lucky and feel so honoured that so many have appreciated our music. As a young band we have had the pleasure of being role models for other young musicians - something we have found incredibly fulfilling and important - and especially to young female musicians like ourselves. Go girls - never doubt yourselves and never stop dreaming!

After we played the Popaganda festival this last weekend we felt it was the perfect ending to the summer and a good time for us to say good bye for a while. We want to explore things on our own for a change; some of us will go back to school, some of us will be taking jobs - and without a doubt all of us will explore new musical settings.
To all our fans - thank you for being wonderful! We hope to see you again in the future and until we do - live and love!

Spanking new video for Can't Find Entrance

May 24th sees the release of our new single Can't Find Entrance. This is a track that bits of it we wrote a while back but then we called it "The Monster and the Bird". We decided to pick a part from that song to create a whole new track with some collaboration help from our rehearsal studio neighbours Max Martin and Shellback and it is produced by Patrik Berger. The b-side is a remix by a Swedish band called Caotico.

The new video, which is packed with some of our best friends of is directed by our favourite director Andreas Öhman (you can spot him for half a second running around throwing leaves in the woods) that we did both "Reaching Forward" and "I'll Be Yours" with.

Those Dancing Days gästredaktörer i P3 Musikguiden denna vecka

Denna vecka gästar Those Dancing Days Musikguiden i P3. De kommer att prata om allt mellan himmel och jord, men framförallt om att vara tonårig musiknörd med ambitioner och drömmar om att ha ett eget band. De kommer bland mycket annat att berätta skruvade historier om crowdsurfing, idolkärlek och första turnén.

Först ut som gästredaktör är Mimmi. Hon kommer att prata om hur det känns att vara besatt av musik, när man bara måste lyssna på den där fantastiska låten tio gånger i rad och ändå inte får nog. I kvällens program spelar hon några av de låtar som hon aldrig får nog av. Hon kommer också att berätta om skivan som faktiskt förändrade hennes liv.

New video soon!

It was a sunny april day. Some of us met up andreas with his crew to do some shots in a park near the princess home.

We met up at Andreas place to eat lunch and to prepare us to be filmed. It wasn't as warm as before during the day so we hardly survived. It is very sneaky the april weather, you think it's summer
and then suddenly the winter strikes and you freeze to death in your shades and small jackets.
It was many friends to us that came along to be a part of the video. That was very fun!

Belle & Sebastian dates

We are in Germany and are finishing our dates with Belle & Sebastian tonight in Berlin - it has been so much fun opening for them. They are all such brilliant people! The first date was in Oslo at Sentrum - big shout out to the catering people there that had bought Ben & Jerry ice cream - like every flavour (double like!).
Then we played our fifth date at Cirkus in Stockholm in a week (after the four Robyn dates earlier in the week). It was really interesting to see how different the crowds were but both brilliant in their own way.

We left yesterday and flew to Hamburg via Copenhagen. On the flight between Stockholm and Copenhagen the Swedish nationalistic politician Jimmie Åkesson was on the same plane....what a narrow minded idiot. So truly sad that some of us humans have such a warped sense of what is right and wrong. Needless to say we have no love for him or any people associated with him.

The next flight between Copenhagen and Hamburg was on a really small airplane - our sound engineer Max-Måns looked like a giant in his chair and had to walk bent over in the aisle.
We were met up at the airport by Ingo who took us to the venue for load-in/soundcheck and an entire box of toffee-fee candy, fantastically good potatochips with some kind of red seasoning and a chocolate easter bunny called Fritz - whose head we ate in record time. We brought Fritz along in the van and will continue devouring the rest of him en route to Berlin. Here he is with Lisa. Did we say that we are health nuts?

So far Cissi's favourite moment was when Belle & Sebastian played "Fox in the Snow" in Hamburg last night - she charged into the Grosse Freihet 36 club like a mad woman shouting "It is the fucking Fox in the fucking Snow - my top Belle & Seb song!!!" We couldn't keep up with her and lost her for a few minutes in the audience. The venue was packed and there was a great feeling in the club.

"I'll Be Yours" UK TV-performance

Hey!
Here is our performance of "I'll Be Yours" from the UK show Topman CTRL that we taped last week of February.

We have a pretty busy week this week. We just played our first date of four supporting Robyn last night in Stockholm, then we play Finland and Umeå Open,  then we support Belle & Sebastian for four show starting with Oslo's Sentrum on April 2nd.

US tour dates cancelled

we are so devastated - we have been looking forward so much to going to the US and playing at SxSW but now we have to cancel our US trip because our visas have not come in on time. they were just approved but by the time we get the proper documents from the US embassy in Stockholm we will have missed half of our commitments plus there are no flights for us to get to where we need to be on time. we started this process last year and this is such bad luck that we cannot believe it. we hope that we can come back later in the year instead!
